Read Hunter's Impressive Bio as a Honor Roll Student-Athlete; Pitcher and she's still hitting the ball!...
Now in her Junior Year at Norfolk State, Hunter was a four year student-athlete at Northside participating in Softball & Track. She was a 3-time Conference Player-Of-The-Year and All-State honoree in softball. She was the State Runner-Up in the Shot Put her Junior year in both Indoor & Outdoor track; 3rd place in Indoor Track her Sr year!
At State, she has been the team RBI leader, hitting .295 with 4 home runs last season. She has been a main-stay on the pitching staff getting a career-high 10 strike outs in one game last year; she threw 10 consecutive games with 2 shut-outs. She was also honored as the Conference Player-Of-The- Week.
