It should prove to be a real Labor Day as the Monarchs play host to their long time rivals Clinton on Monday; Kick-Off is 6:00 pm. The game was postponed from Friday due to weather concerns.
The always tough and well-prepared Dark Horses are coming in with two disappointing loses but records have never meant anything for a Clinton-Northside game. Last season, the two teams met twice, splitting wins for the two games with the Monarchs winning the second meeting in the NCHSAA 2AA East Regional Semifinal Playoff game. Clinton will come ready to play!
The Monarchs should be ready also playing at home for the first time after two road trips. The team will look forward to the support from their 12th MAN - their fans, cheerleaders & band! Your game attendance and cheering is most important and is the real backbone support for the team. Hope you can be there but if not, tune in to "The Q" at 95.5 FM.
