The 71st NC Coaches Clinic will fill up the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center Monday 15th-Thursday 18th as High School & Middle School Coaches of all NCHSAA sports from across the state will meet to increase their knowledge with sport-specific classes and information prior to the upcoming school year sport seasons.

Sorry, but no Monarch players or coaches were selected this year but you can check out area players/coaches who were honored. You can also look up the past Monarchs who played and coached in the All-Star Games. Coach Bob Sanders will be a speaker this year to all NC football coaches.  Bob, still a Jacksonville native, played at Jacksonville and Davidson before coaching at Southwest High and then moving on to various college and professional teams.

The Coaches Clinic means high school athletics will soon be starting! While the coaches are at the Clinic,  their players will be enjoying their last summer break with the 2nd NCHSAA Summer Dead Period; NCHSAA Fall sport practice sessions officially start on August 1st.
