Northside is celebrating their 20th year in SY 2020-2021...HAPPY BIRTHDAY or HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Interested in joining Monarch Athletics by playing a sport(s)? If so, you will need to fill out a NHS SPORT INTEREST FORM and check out the NHS ATHLETIC CALENDAR GRAPH showing the SPORTS OFFERED, SPORT SEASONS and the SEASON OVERLAPS.
The FORM & CALENDAR can be found on the Home Page of the NHS School Website: www.onslow.k12.nc.us/northsidehs ... Enlarge: https://www.onslow.k12.nc.us/cms/lib/NC02213593/Centricity/Domain/8/Sports%2020.21.png
In addition, you need to have on file with the NHS AD, the various forms in the STUDENT-ATHLETE PARTICIPATION PACKET & a current ATHLETIC PHYSICAL.
All of this information is important in the planning of the compressed athletic year that already has a reduced schedule of games/matches due to the COVID virus.
THANK YOU for wanting to represent the Monarchs by playing athletics! This will be the 4th year in the tough Coastal 3A Conference: West Carteret...Havelock...Jacksonville...Swansboro...White Oak...Northside. It will be a demanding year! Thanks again for your interest, time and hard work!
(FYI-Northside History...Northside High School opened her doors for SY 2001-2002 as Onslow County's newest high school with a student body of approximately 580 students from Jacksonville Commons Middle (250), Jacksonville (250) and White Oak (80). Northside's first year had no Senior Class but played a full varsity schedule playing in the very competitive Coastal Plains 2A Conference for 16 years.)
GO MONARCHS!
