(Local point of interest): Jacksonville native and off-season Stella resident, Bob Sanders will be the Defensive Coordinator with his former boss Coach Steve Spurrier of the Orlando Apollos. Bob played at Jacksonville High School and Davidson College and began his coaching career at Southwest High School before moving on to the college ranks at Ga.Tech, ECU, Richmond, Duke, Florida and then in 2001 to the NFL at Miami, Green Bay, Buffalo, Oakland and most recently Arizona. Bob, his wife Kathie and his family have been very active with the Fellowship Of Christian Athletes wherever he has coached. Bob is a member of the Jacksonville-Onslow Hall Of Fame.
