...This issue is not limited to the Big Ten. Locally, high school sports officials have publicly raised concerns about college football games on Friday nights for years. East Carolina and Appalachian State have played Friday games in the past, and last fall UNC hosted NC State on a Friday afternoon during the state playoffs.
