A "LEGEND" to Onslow County basketball and especially to Northside Girls & Boys Basketball since NHS opened in 2001, Coach Taylor was not only a student of the game, but also a teacher of the game and of doing the right things in life; both on and off the court. Truely remembered as the "Godfather Of Onslow County Basketball!"

His presence will always be felt at Monarch home games sitting on the first or second row of the bleachers across from the scorer's table. His support was also seen and felt at away games including Tournaments and Playoffs. Did he "adopt" the Monarchs OR did the Monarchs "adopt" him? So many other schools could say the same thing about Coach Taylor; somehow he was everywhere!

What a GREAT MAN!  What a GREAT TEACHER!  What a GREAT FRIEND!

Funeral Arrangements: Saturday, December 29th 1:00 - (Visitation: 12:00-1:00)...Trent River Oakey Grove Headquarters Building, Georgetown Road, Jacksonville. Interment following at Onslow Memorial Park Cemetary.
