Hurricane Florence has closed Onslow County Schools for the week of Monday 9/17-Friday 9/21. All after school activities including athletics will be cancelled for the same period.
Several schools have been damaged while others are serving as evacuation shelters.
Athletic make-ups & cancellations will be announced...the NCHSAA has not made a decision if the Fall Season will be extended.
Hopefully you and your family are ok? If so,try to get out & help your neighbors with repairs and debris pick up...if you are out-of-town, you may want to wait and not return too quickly...there is still flooding, road closures, power outages, few businesses open, long lines for gas (if available)...call friends to check on improvements.
