Your Northside Varsity Cheerleaders won 2nd Place in the Coastal 3A Conference Championships held at Havelock. (Their efforts almost earned a 1st losing by less than a point!)

What an accomplishment for a young group (10 Freshmen, 4 Sophomores, 4 Juniors & 2 Seniors) starting out together during the summer but by practicing hard with a good work ethic, good team leadership, dedication in spite of Florence they almost won it all! The squad was a special one to Head Coach Dolly Grosskopf & Asst Coach Lora Falkowsky who were impressed by their commitment to the team and each other. They continued to practice until the routine or stunt was correct!

This year's squad cheered and performed for both football & basketball season plus being the competition team...that's a lot of practices, games and away bus rides!
